Editor—While we agree with the points that Ian Roberts and Carolyn DiGuiseppi make in their editorial on children in cars,1 we wish to draw attention to other important aspects of children's safety in cars. Over the past few years three surveys have been carried out on the use of restraints by car occupants in Fife, Scotland.
