Uterotonic drugs have no adverse effects on cognitive function

To assess whether exposure in utero to oxytocin might affect cognitive function in adult life, Sorensen et al correlated the results on intelligence tests of 4300 Danish military conscripts with their exposure in utero to oxytocin or similar drugs (p 433). They found no differences between those who had been exposed to uterotonic drugs and those who had not.
