Conviction for assisted suicide upheld: A Dutch appeal court has upheld the conviction of the founder of suicide support group De Einder for helping a 25 year old woman to kill herself. Jan Hilarius, aged 74, offered written instructions on suicide and medication. His sentence was reduced from 12 to four months because of his age and previous unblemished record. …
