Gastroenterologist, editor, and researcher, who cofounded a private medical university in Pakistan
Sarwar Jehan Zuberi began her research career in Pakistan in 1967 as one of the first full time employees of the Medical Research Council, Karachi, and went on to become its head. In 1996, when her contract with the council had ended, I asked her to help me set up a new medical university in the private sector—Ziauddin Medical University, Karachi.
