Non-European doctors feel penalised by change in UK policy

Doctors who trained outside the European Union are flooding the BMA with worried calls about a recent change in immigration policy that they fear will mean a forced exodus of medical staff from the United Kingdom. The BMA is seeking an urgent meeting with the government to try to resolve the matter and to establish some breathing space for foreign doctors who are already working in the UK to sort out their affairs.
